Hi, I'm Mica!

I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and our 2 little ones. I founded Not So Sleepless Mama Pediatric Sleep Support after struggling first hand with postpartum sleep deprivation for 14 months.

 

I know what it feels like to be mentally and physically drained in motherhood and the impact that can have on your overall health, your marriage and your ability to parent well. As a first time mom, I felt so unprepared for the exhaustion that came with this unique type of sleep deprivation but I was told that it was just part of becoming a mother.

 

Sleeping again felt unattainable. I Googled everything under the sun about baby sleep until I finally discovered the Association Fading ™ Sleep Method. From that point forward, I worked with a pediatric sleep coach, using this unique method, and it honestly changed everything. I went from being a sleepless mama to happy, healthy and thriving in motherhood!​

​What is the Association Fading™ Sleep Method?

A solution for the parents who don't want to use the cry-it-out method but co-sleeping, rocking, feeding to sleep or any other form of fully supporting their child to sleep is no longer sustainable. 

 

This is for the parents who want to respond to their child but still want them to learn independent sleep habits.

 

Association Fading™ is a method utilizing a child's natural, unique sleep patterns, to help them fall asleep faster with a developmentally appropriate approach, where you stay in the room, responsive to coach your child the whole way through.
